Day 1. Arrival in Beijing ( Meals: -/-/- )
Our guide will meet you outside the baggage claim area at Beijing Airport and transfer you to the hotel. The rest of the day is on your own to explore the city.
Day 2. Beijing ( Meals: B/L/SD )
Visit the Tiananmen Square, the symbolical heart of China and gathering place for the masses. It is the biggest public square in the world, the Forbidden City as the Palace Museum, the Chinese imperial palace from the middle of Ming Dynasty to the end of the Qing Dynasty and the Temple of Heaven which is the place where the emperors of Ming and Qing Dynasty worshiped heaven and prayed for peace and harvest. The Beijing Duck Dinner is served at a famous restaurant,,followed by a lively Peking Opera performance at the Liyuan Theatre.
Day 3. Beijing ( Meals: B/L/- )
Visit the Mutianyu Great Wall and the Sacred Way which means the road leading to heaven,the Ming Tomb of Changling, the largest one where emperor Yongle was buried in the afternoon.
Day 4. Beijing – Xian by soft sleeper train( Meals: B/L/D )
Visit the Bird's Nest and Wate Cube 29th Olympic National Stadium, and the Summer Palace, built in 1888, it was once a summer retreat and the imperial park for emperors. Dinner before transfer you to the Beijing West train station. Take soft sleeper train to Xian in the night.
Day 5. Xian ( Meals: B/L/SD )
Our guide will pick you up at the railway station at morining and tranfer to your hotel, take breakfast in the hotel. Visit the Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum, the most significant archeological excavations of the20th century. It has been regarded as THE 8TH WONDER OF THE WORLD! . In the afternoon, visit the Great Mosque, is one of the oldest, largest and best-preserved Islamic mosques in China, the Muslim Street, Moslem Street is the hub of the Moslem community in Xian City. After visit Mulim street, you will hava a optional tour which is tour to Gao Yue Song’s ancient style Folk House, formerly high rank official during the Ming Dynasty some 300 years ago. This house won UNESCO Prize for Cultural Heritage Protection in Asian-Pacific Area in 2002 and you will be delighted to see a dying art: Shadow Play Opera which played by farmers. Dinner enjoy famous Dumpling Banquet .
Day 6. Xian-Chengdu by soft sleeper train ( Meals: B/L/D )
visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, which situated at south of the Xian city,as one of the main constructions in the famous Buddhist temple-Da-Ci-En Temple, the pagoda is one of the most distinctive and outstanding landmarks for Xian City, the City Wall, It is the most complete city wall survived in China as well as one of the largest ancient military defensive systems in the world, Shaanxi Provincial Museum, which is the largest comprehensive museum in the province. Transfser to the Xi’an railway station and take the soft sleeper train to Chengdu in the afternoon.
Day 7. Chengdu ( Meals: -/-/- )
In the afternoon arrival in Chengdu and transfer to the hotel. The rest time is free.
Day 8. Chengdu-Chongqing by soft sleeper train ( Meals: B/L/D )
Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to railway station and take train to Chongqing, when arriving in Chongqing, pre-board the cruise ship. Lunch and dinner at a local restaurants. Pre-board the cruise ship and overnight on board.
Day 9. Yangtze Cruise( Meals: B/L/D )
Start the cruise on the Yangtze River with a stop at Fengdu, the City of Ghosts. Back to the boat to continue the cruise. Accommodation and meals on board.
Day 10. Yangtze Cruise( Meals: B/L/D )
Cross Qutang Gorge and board a small boat on the Daning River, where you will catch a glimpse of the three small gorges (this excursion might be replaced by another one). Return to the cruise ship in the afternoon and cross Wu Gorge. Accommodation and meals on board.
Day 11. Yangtze Cruise- Yichang-Shanghai by soft sleeper tarin ( Meals: B/L/- )
Breakfast on board. Cross Gezhouba Dam after passing the last gorge, Xiling Gorge. The cruise ends in Yichang. Take the soft sleeper train to Shanghai.
Day 12. Shanghai ( Meals: -/L/D )
Arrive in Shanghai in the morning and our Shanghai guide will meet you at railway station and transfer to the hotel. Visit the Jade Buddha Temple, it is the most famous and one of the most active Buddhist temples in Shanghai. Named for its two bejeweled white jade Buddha, one is 1000kg, 1.9 meter-high figure carved from Burmese jade brought to China in 1882, the Yuyuan Garden, It is well worth a meander through the Yu Garden, which has many scenic courtyards decorated with baroque rockery, pools and flora, all connected by corridors and passageways.The dinner will be serve and followed by the Portman Acrobatic Show at the Shanghai Centre Theatre.
Day 13. Departure from Shanghai ( Meals: B/-/- )
Our guide and driver will see you off at the airport today. Hope next time we still have the chance to serve you again.
