Day 1. Arrival in Beijing ( Meals: -/-/- )
Our guide will meet you outside the baggage claim area at Beijing Airport and transfer you to the hotel. The rest of the day is on your own to explore the city.
Day 2. Beijing ( Meals: B/L/SD )
Visit the Tiananmen Square, the symbolical heart of China and gathering place for the masses. It is the biggest public square in the world, the Forbidden City as the Palace Museum, the Chinese imperial palace from the middle of Ming Dynasty to the end of the Qing Dynasty and the Temple of Heaven which is the place where the emperors of Ming and Qing Dynasty worshiped heaven and prayed for peace and harvest. The Beijing Duck Dinner is served at a famous restaurant,,followed by a lively Peking Opera performance at the Liyuan Theatre.
Day 3. Beijing ( Meals: B/L/- )
Visit the Mutianyu Great Wall and the Sacred Way which means the road leading to heaven,the Ming Tomb of Changling, the largest one where emperor Yongle was buried in the afternoon.
Day 4. Beijing – Xian by soft sleeper train( Meals: B/L/D )
Visit the Bird's Nest and Wate Cube 29th Olympic National Stadium, and the Summer Palace, built in 1888, it was once a summer retreat and the imperial park for emperors. Dinner before transfer you to the Beijing West train station. Take soft sleeper train to Xian in the night.
Day 5. Xian ( Meals: B/L/SD )
Our guide will pick you up at the railway station at morining and tranfer to your hotel,take the breakfast in the hotel. Visit the Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum, the most significant archeological excavations of the20th century. It has been regarded as THE 8TH WONDER OF THE WORLD! . In the afternoon, visit the Great Mosque, is one of the oldest, largest and best-preserved Islamic mosques in China, the Muslim Street, Moslem Street is the hub of the Moslem community in Xian City. After visit Mulim street, you will hava a optional tour which is tour to Gao Yue Song’s ancient style Folk House, formerly high rank official during the Ming Dynasty some 300 years ago. This house won UNESCO Prize for Cultural Heritage Protection in Asian-Pacific Area in 2002 and you will be delighted to see a dying art: Shadow Play Opera which played by farmers. Dinner enjoy famous Dumpling Banquet .
Day 6. Xian-Chengdu by soft sleeper train ( Meals: B/L/D )
visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, which situated at south of the Xian city,as one of the main constructions in the famous Buddhist temple-Da-Ci-En Temple, the pagoda is one of the most distinctive and outstanding landmarks for Xian City, the City Wall, It is the most complete city wall survived in China as well as one of the largest ancient military defensive systems in the world, Shaanxi Provincial Museum, which is the largest comprehensive museum in the province. Transfser to the Xi’an railway station and take the soft sleeper train to Chengdu in the night.
Day 7. Chengdu ( Meals: -/-/- )
In the afternoon arrival in Chengdu and transfer to the hotel.
Day 8. Chengdu-Lhasa by air( Meals: B/L/D )
Take a morning flight to Lhasa, upon arrival, meet your guide and transfer to hotel to take rest for acclimatization of the high altitude. Lunch and dinner at local restaurants. Overnight at hotel.
Day 9. Lhasa( Meals: B/L/D )
Breakfast at hotel. City sightseeing in Lhasa covers Potala Palace, a vast white and ochre fortress that used to be the residence of the Dalai Lama and the seat of Tibetan Government and Tibet's greatest architectural achievement and spiritual symbol. Jokhang temple, the most revered religious structure in Tibet, and a highlight of a visit to Lhasa has got to be the circuit ambulation of the Jokhang Temple. stroll in the famous local bazaar - Parkhor street. Lunch and dinner at local restaurants. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 10. Lhasa( Meals: B/L/D )
Breakfast at hotel. Tour in Lhasa of Drepung Monastery, was once the world's largest monastery, with a population of around 10,000 monks. The word Drepung literally translates as "rice heap", a reference to the huge numbers of white monastic buildings that once piled up on the hillside. In the afternoon drive to Sera monastery, which was created in 1419 and has always been an important Buddhist seminary, lies 4 km north of Lhasa, It is here that the monks' famous daily debates take place, at 3:30pm. Sky burials are still occasionally practiced at Sera. And the Summer Palace of Dailai Lama-- Norbulingka. Lunch and dinner at local restaurants. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 11. Lhasa-Yamdrok Tso Lake-Lhasa( Meals: B/L/D )
Breakfast at hotel. Drive to Yamdrok Tso Lake, the lake lies several hundred meters below the road, and in clear weather is a fabulous shade of deep turquoise. It is one of the four holy lakes of Tibet, and the home of wrathful deities. Walk on the lakeside to enjoy the natural beauty. Drive back to Lhasa in the late afternoon. Lunch en route. Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 12. Lhasa-Chengdu-Chongqing( Meals: B/L/D )
Breakfast at hotel. In the morning, transfer to airport for flight to Chengdu. Upon arrival, transfer to Chongqing.On the way, visit Le Shan Great Buddha, when arriving in Chongqing, pre-board the cruise ship. Lunch and dinner at a local restaurants. Pre-board the cruise ship and overnight on board.
Day 13. Yangtze Cruise( Meals: B/L/D )
Start the cruise on the Yangtze River with a stop at Fengdu, the City of Ghosts. Back to the boat to continue the cruise. Accommodation and meals on board.
Day 14. Yangtze Cruise( Meals: B/L/D )
Cross Qutang Gorge and board a small boat on the Daning River, where you will catch a glimpse of the three small gorges (this excursion might be replaced by another one). Return to the cruise ship in the afternoon and cross Wu Gorge. Accommodation and meals on board.
Day 15. Yangtze cruise- Yichang-Shanghai( Meals: B/L/D )
Breakfast on board. Cross Gezhouba Dam after passing the last gorge, Xiling Gorge. The cruise ends in Yichang. Transfer to the airport for your flight to Shanghai. Upon arrival, visit the Bund and Nanjing Road. Take a Boat Tour in the night to see Huang Pu River and it's lightful Bund. Lunch and dinner at local restaurants. Overnight at hotel.
Day 16. Shanghai-Guilin by soft sleeper train ( Meals: B/L/D )
Breakfast at hotel. Visit the Old Town of the city, the Jade Buddha Temple and the Mandarin Yu Garden. The dinner will be serve.Take the soft sleeper train to Guilin in the afternoon.
Day 17. Guilin(Meals: -/-/D )
Arrive in Guilin in the afternoon and our Guilin guide will pick you up at the railway station
Transfer to your Guilin hotel.
Day 18. Guilin - Yangshuo ( Meals: B/L/- )
Enduring memories are created today as you cruise down the Li River to Yangshuo, waterway from Guilin to Yanshuo is the masterpiece of the Li River scenery. It is the most typical karst topography in northeastern Guangxi.Transfer to the hotel. A short bicycle trip to the countryside will then be arranged. You will visit a local villager's home to experience the farmer's lifestyle there. Alternatively, you can take our electric car instead of taking bicycles.(Tips: Since the lunch on the Li River cruise can not meet your expectation, we suggests that you have enough breakfast at the hotel today.)
Day 19. Yangshuo ( Meals: B/-/- )
We intend to leave the day free at Yangshou. You can find West Street with the breathtaking scenery and have a pot of tea in a sidewalk cafe feeling totally relaxed. You can rent a bicycle to visit the Moon Hill and the Tall Banyan.
Day 20. Departure from Guilin ( Meals: B/L/- )
Drive back to Guilin. Visit the Reed Flute Cave,the Cave is Guilin´s largest and most impressive cave, the Seven Star Park, is the largest comprehensive park with mass scenery in Guilin City and the Elephant Trunk Hill, as symbol of Guilin, it has become one of the most popular natural monuments. It resembles an elephant drinking from the Li River. Then our guide and driver will see you off at the airport .Hope next time we still have the chance to serve you again.
