Tour Itinerary:

You will be picked up from your hotel in the morning and transferred first to the South Putuo Temple. This temple is deemed one of the must-see tourist places in Xiamen. Even if you are not interested in Buddhism, you will find the scenic area surrounding it provides you with a refreshing experience. You will continue your tour with a visit to the Hulishan Cannon Fortress which was originally built in the Qing dynasty (1644-1911) to fend off foreign imperialists. The third stop on this tour is Leisure Land located on the East Coast and known as modern Xiamen. Lunch is served in a local restaurant. After lunch you will go to the Xiamen Overseas Chinese Museum which is a comprehensive museum that highlights the history of overseas Chinese. The final stop is Botanical Garden where more than 5300 species of tropical and subtropical plants have been introduced.
