Tour Itinerary:

You will be picked up from your hotel in the morning and transferred to Gulangyu Island. Gulangyu Island is renowned for its delicate natural beauty, its ancient relics and its varied architecture. You will then visit the South Putuo Temple which is deemed one of the must-see tourist places in Xiamen city. Even if you are not interested in Buddhism, you will find the scenic area surrounding it provides you with a refreshing experience. Lunch is served in a local restaurant. After lunch you will continue your tour with a visit to the Hulishan Cannon Fortress which was originally built during the Qing dynasty (1644-1911) to fend off foreign imperialists. It is then on to Leisure Land located on the East Coast which is the symbol of Xiamen. Your tour concludes after enjoying some refreshing tea in a tea house.
